Browns Yard Freighter on NEC |
Description: |
After superstorm Sandy had disabled the Raritan River Drawbridge, the supply train from Oak Island (OI) to Browns Yard could not traverse its normal route. On this day the OI supply train reached Browns by traveling down the NEC to Midway interlocking in Monmouth Junction, where it was pulled backwards onto the Amboy Secondary with a different set of locomotives. Here is the OI train passing under the signals at Midway interlocking. |
