NEC over the West River  Contributor's Pick!       
A morning Amtrak train destined for Boston, MA sprints over a crumbling bridge spanning the mighty West River. Yes, this is called a river. In fact, there are at least 2 West Rivers in Connecticut, one which pours into New Haven Harbor, and this one which feeds into Guilford Harbor.
